Finally here are some of the photos from our trip to Chicago,I will tell you right now,I am not the best person to ask on what to do in this city (ask my friend GOOGLE I’m sure he knows everything about Chicago) but I know before heading for this trip that I wanted to:
Strike a pose at “the Bean” -check.
Eat…..a deep dish pizza-check.
Chicago Style hot dog-missed.
Ober weis Ice cream-missed.
Garett’s pop corn-check.
Meet some friends-check.
Check out a Korean market-check!check!check!.
Wear “converse” shoes only -check.
And most of all, to celebrate Boyfriend’s 40th birthday (with relatives)-which was the best part and the whole purpose of this trip.
Now let’s talk about my outfits, there were few which were not photographed but as an advocate of “recycling an outfit” ,I promise all these outfits were recycled,I’m sure you’ve seen them from many of my old posts, but this time all of them were paired with my reliable “converse shoes”,which made sight seeing, baby sitting and walking more tolerable.
Here’s the super crowded “The Bean”,you will never get an alone time in this landmark.
Below is just a portion of the vast Millennium Park.
This view is right by the main entrance of the Shedd Aquarium.
China town,my favorite place in Chicago.
Navy Pier, sorry this one is blurry :(.
Chicago is not a city to explore overnight (even a week was not enough) this city has so much character and life and I can’t wait to go back.
Have a blessed Sunday everyone.
Thanx for visiting my blog,xoxo.
