Green Tea Smoothie

Hello everyone, today let’s enjoy green to the fullest,I’m talking about my fascination with green tea.If you’re like me who do not, never did and will never enjoy juicing vegetables, then let me share my way of getting my green the “NO YUCK” way, although they say everything is learned??? I still don’t like to endure a bad taste or learning to endure a bad taste,I believe that eating or drinking should always entice the senses because after all, food is the “ART OF THE SENSES”.

Here’s another matcha green tea recipe, have fun making your version and good luck.

INGREDIENTS:

(This will make 2 glasses)
1 cup ice
1 cup honey greek yogurt (or plain just add honey to taste)
2 bananas
1 tsp. matcha green tea powder
2 tbsp. almonds or more (or walnuts)
1 tbsp. chia seeds

INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour all the ingredients in a blender but start with the ice,top your end product with a pinch of chia seeds and serve.I promise your senses will be pleased today and always.

 TRIVIA:
1.The liquid that separates from yogurt is called whey, don’t fret if you see this, your yogurt did not go bad and don’t discard it,otherwise you’re wasting a protein.
2.1/2 teaspoon of matcha green tea (1 gm.) contains 105 mg. of catechin or 61% of EGCg(and that stands for epigallocatechin gallet still the longest word I know)an anti oxidant found in green tea.
