Our 5-year-old has been asking for a kitchen set (which she calls a cooker toy),she had that on her wish list last Christmas, she had the same wish for her birthday last March, but Boyfriend and I have been playing bad parents,we’ve been ignoring that honest wish.
The other night, before this little girl went to bed, with a glee, she told us she wish she will dream of a “cooker toy”,,,,,the excitement in her eyes and the innocence in her voice while making that wish made me burst into tears, like OMG,that toy is only 40 bucks (well for me,a $40 toy falls under “my” definition of expensive, but at that moment the price tag didn’t matter anymore) I just felt terribly guilty for waiting too long to grant that wish.
So the next morning we (finally) got our little angel her cooker toy (happy ending ) and the rest of the kids had to get their wishes too right??? our 6-year-old finally got her “One Direction” wish, but we decided it had to be something useful so we got her a “One Direction” toothbrush and our 12-year-old had the easiest wish, all she wanted was an “In and Out Burger ” double-double.
Now that’s what I call perks of being a mom,and no amount of flowers can top that.
Happy Mother’s day.
Thanx for visiting my blog,xoxo.
