HOW TO LOSE 3 POUNDS IN 3 DAYS

Disclaimer:I’m not a certified nutritionist nor a certified fitness guru, I’m a mom who loves her body and loves feeling good about herself, this is my sure trick when I need to fit on a dress for a special occasion, this is not meant to promote short-term weight loss goals, but if you can do this in 3 days without fail, this could lead to a long-term practice, I am not always a “clean” eater myself, I must admit, I love to indulge ones in a while, but my trick is to always make sure that my junk foods never overweigh my healthy food choices.

I’m pretty sure you have your own theory, but let me share my theory in 10 steps.

1.NO white rice, I either eat oatmeal, quinoa or veggies as rice substitute for 3 days.

2.NO chips, no chocolates, no candy, no cookies, no white bread, no pasta, no sugar, no alcohol HOOO! that’s a lot! I know, I use organic coconut oil to sweeten my coffee or hot cocoa, I eat protein bars (there are so many flavors to choose from and choose the one that has low sugar/gram) or banana when I want something sweet and I eat skinny popcorn sprinkled with cayenne pepper when I want something savory.

3.NO soda or artificially flavored beverages for 3 days, no diet soda either, I don’t drink soda on normal days anyway, so this one is easy for me, JUST WATER, or unflavored tea if you’re a tea lover.

4.NO WHINING, NO SELF PITYING, all positive thinking.

5.NO eating outside, no food delivery either (not unless they’re the healthy kind).

6.NO watching food shows for 3 days, be nice to yourself.

7.No bargaining, it’s either you do it or you don’t.

8.No fried foods for 3 days, I eat stews, soups, steamed, baked or grilled goodies for 3 days.

9.Break sweats, it doesn’t matter how or where you do it, what’s important is you do it.

10. Don’t ever, ever skip meals, don’t skip rest, I sleep when I need to sleep, I drink before I become thirsty, I eat 3 meals and 4 snacks a day, and lastly believe you can! and you will.

FUN FACTS: SAFE AMOUNT OF SUGAR TO EAT PER DAY

  • Men: 150 calories per day (37.5 grams or 9 teaspoons).
  • Women: 100 calories per day (25 grams or 6 teaspoons).
