5 minutes is pristine, 10 minutes later your thighs will start to burn, 15 minutes more to it, you start to question why the heck you’re doing that to your self (when snuggling in bed feels way better than inhaling other hikers sweat), 20 minutes more of burning legs and catching your breath, you start to plot how you will devour your next meal, haha.
This is my hiking reality.
Hiking is not a habit (not for me) although I love that natural high I get each time I reach the top? hiking still feels like a chore, it feels like a bad book I’m required to finish because I need to write a paper out of it.
Yes, the struggle is real.
Short term goal is to reach the peak, enjoy the view and break sweat for free.
Long term goal is to stay agile with age.
I seriously don’t enjoy the process, but there is something about hiking that’s VERY ATTRACTIVE, something I can’t pin point! but makes me euphoric every time I think about it, it must be nature talking to me, telling me there is more to hiking than stinky sweats and achy legs ,and that I’m doing a great job.
Thanks for coming over.
hugs, binG ♥
